Presented in this sale were more than 200 pieces of Tiffany & Company sterling silver Lap-Over Edge patterned flatware and a pair of rare repousse 19th C. covered oval vegetable dishes also from Tiffany & Company. The Asian department presented a 16th C. Ming cinnabar five-tier box, a finely carved pair of Qianlung boxwood scholars along with other notable jades, ivories and porcelains. Also featured were Amereican Indian pieces including a rare Northwest Coast carved spirit figure; a Zuni polychrome painted bow and a group of early 20th C. Kachina dolls.

This sale also presented the Skowhegan Collection with representative works of forty-nine (49) artists in various mediums, who were residents at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture during the period from 1975-85. The school founded in 1946 coordinated emerging artist with distinguished artists of the times. Most of these works are of massive proportions.
